ive been coming to terms with my possible did and the closest thing i have is that a lot of people have mistaken their rapidly changing thoughts with "their own adhd" which is exactly what i thought mine was... ive always lived with this and i just assumed they were my own inner thoughts and i thought everyone else had this many too... and it doesnt go away! no wonder why everyone thought conversations with me went haywire... when they asked me this question in therapy i had NO IDEA how to answer it because i "didnt hear" anything """"internally"""" (thinking they were my own!) but i KNOW i didnt hear anything outside... i thought theyd mark me as crazy! :l

Years ago I ( GOYO) were scared and embarrassed of talking about our DID and schizophrenia with strangers or friends. Not anymore. Hearing voices inside our head and outside our head is completely different, even that some of my alters don’t understand why We Goyo have to suffer from our mental illness. I know this video is old but I’m just strong enough to speak out. If anyone has a question about our life experience. We are more than happy to share with anyone. Thank you for educating others. We are many humans going through this daily battle and the more than know the less stigma towards others like us. 🙏🏻

This is difficult information to deal with and it hurts - but we need to realise how these things can go wrong. Just because someone does something good doesn't mean they are completely coming from a good space and that's not always easy to fully understand. For me anyway - but I'm learning .🤞so thank you for bringing it out into the open ❤

I can't remember a time in my life when I DIDN'T hear voices in my head; I never spoke about it to anyone else because I just thought everyone else did too, and nobody else talked about it because it was so common (like people don't talk about their toilet habits.) At the age of 25 I suffered a mental breakdown which put me in a psychiatric unit for 11 months, and I was diagnosed with PTSD and OSDD. I remember speaking to some schizophrenic patients and, when I heard them say they heard voices talking to them, I got concerned, and asked my therapist if I might be schizophrenic, because I also heard voices talking in my head. As you mentioned at the start of this video, she asked me if the voices came from inside or outside of my head, and when I said inside, told me that was why I didn't have schizophrenia, because schizophrenic peoples' voices come from outside of their head. So yeah, this belief has been around for a long time. I do mostly hear their voices inside my head - but there have been rare occasions where I've heard a voice so suddenly and unexpectedly that it makes me jump as if the voice has come from some invisible person outside of my head. (One I particularly remember was from one of my male alters, who yelled "OI!" at me - he's the only person in my system who would ever use that term to get my attention!)

It’s so interesting to hear from an elder in the plural community

We use guidelines instead of rules because it can be triggering to our trauma holders (abusers used their so-called rules against us) and we generally don’t have any punishment for breaking them for the same reason. I liked that not calling them rules was included

I am 7 years in since my diagnosis and have turned a corner in my healing. For the first time in more than a decade I have been more than 11days functional, where I am able to fet out of bed and do at least one thing during the day. I hit the 5 week mark a few days ago and continue to feel grateful for being able to do the simple things healthy people take for granted.

SIN-nl, was a blacklist (dont exist anymore)of doctors suspected to commit medical errors(there is still a youtube channel, and twitter account , where much of the cases or testimony reported are about chirurgical mistakes, "SIN-NL was founded by mr sophie Hankes, who ended up in a wheelchair years ago as a result of a medical error"..they didn't seem focused on psychology , nor motivated to discredit did or multiplicity at all). None of my mental health professionals seem to agree on what's up with my brain and they really don't like being upfront with me about their thoughts. So watching your videos is super helpful! 🙏❤ I think I only really hear voices in a psychotic sense since they are just copies of people I've heard recently. But I have heard or felt (i can't quite recall it) a child crying and crying inside of me. She "emerges" when I (we??) walk past the candy or the toys, too lol. But yeah, I have no clue anymore. I just want peace in my head. I want the kid to feel safe, I want the others to not panic about existence. I want all of what's in this body to work better together, whether we are plural, psychotic, or something else (or all of this) I will keep looking for answers! ❤

Can someone explain why no one told me this when I complain about multiple inside voices.i do have worse sleep pattern and hallucination of music when fell asleep and waking up. Recently been very sensitive listening to music much more than movie or poem anything else..

This was very validating, thank you. We red the article before and it made us feel better. We're still questioning, but knowing about just being plural and having our own plural experience, that's super important. We experience a lot of stress over the fact that we don't fully fit in most experiences we hear about, both from systems and singlets, and it's a very lonely space in between. But OSDD-1 works and that's a relief. Thanks for this wonderful work. It's lovely to see how y'all ask a question and really listen to the answer, both of you. Beautiful.

I think I was misdiagnosed with major depression because my hallucinations and delusions are not only focused on depressed things, I think we are being controlled like dolls or like we are in. A matrix or simulation, I see photos moving until I look, I see garden nomes move or black shadow figures, today I saw a fox and the kids outside didn’t say anything about it, the other day I thought a bird was dying in our attic and My dog didn’t react to it, my dreams seem so real that I wake up checking my body and surroundings, my panic attacks have caused me to hallucinate objects turning into humans, a wasp on my leg, I hear ringing and the shower curtain made noise as if a bug was stuck in it but I just had moved it and then went downstairs for 3 minutes, I can’t sleep with my closet door opened, I’ll also hear tapping, the voices are in my head so to listen to music so I can sing along to quiet the voices, and I’ve thought I had a ghost in my house with long hair brown eyes and brown hair, wearing a white dress and things in the attic As a kid I was always outside and these voices were more like kids playing, but as I grew up and stayed In more they went away, so I’m guessing these were just what happened during the day
